About-Us

David Lane

With an interest in electronics and mechanics that spans back as far as Meccano and Lego I have always had an interest in how things are built and work. This combined with a love of solving puzzles and problems led me to a career in Automotive Electrics where there is always a new challenge and a different problem to solve. I found that this combined with a genuine personal investment and interest in the outcome of any job put before me has kept me learning and developing new skills, techniques and methods that ultimately translates to a better customer experience and reliability for our valued clients.

  • With over 10 years of experience, I have worked on a wide range of equipment starting in agriculture and on-road vehicles before transitioning to heavy construction and earthmoving equipment. My experience includes working on small generators and lighting plants, as well as 125t excavators, dump trucks, tractors, and dozers.
  • I thrive on the continual challenge and learning curve that comes with my work. There’s nothing more rewarding than sending a piece of equipment back to work, having made it more reliable, or in some way improved it to better suit the customer’s needs. Customer service is essential to me, and I truly enjoy the people aspect of my job. Over the years, I have learned a lot, and I find great reward in being able to help people.
  • I have travelled all over the state to work on different equipment in various locations. In fact, I have even worked as far out as Casey Station in Antarctica!
